Valentine’s day Nail art – Part 4

cute love nail art

Hi

I’m really high on Valentine’s nail art this time. This is the 4th part of the series. You can check others here

Valentine’s nail art Part 3

Since Valentine’s is all about love and hearts and pinks, I incorporated all of this into one nail art. I always say that white is a great base color for nail art, but I wanted to use some other color this time. So I settled on this pink and white combination.

I wanted to make it a couple’s nail art but I had already done one before (Part-1 of series above *if you still haven’t checked it, go check it fast fast*). So being a student of biology, I drew the symbols of male and female as an alternative 😀

If you don’t know about it, male is represented by this symbol of Mars –  ♂ : a circle with an arrow pointing north-east. Female is represented by the symbol of Venus – ♀ : a circle with a small cross underneath.

I took the liberty of drawing a pink bow on the female symbol ^_^ (Okay, also to make it look like a female. Otherwise these are just weird shapes for a layman).

The black nail art pen I used went gloopy, that is why I couldn’t draw perfect circle and that is why they look alien-ish

Anyhoo, they still look pretty to me 🙂

I always always always do nail art on both my hands, no matter how shaky my left hand is. This is how my right hand mani looked. Not bad, haan.

I drew the hearts using the tips mentioned HERE. Super easy!

And finally I finished it with a glittery top coat on pink nails and some polka dot on my thumb.

Valentine’s day Nail art – Part 3

I am back with another Valentine nail art. You can check part 1 and 2 HERE and HERE

Since valentine’s is all about love and love involves hearts, I painted big hearts on all my nails.

Plus my nails were short so I couldn’t draw anything else 😀

I wanted to keep the base dark so I chose red color (color of love). You can choose any color of your choice.

All you need to do for this nail art is:

1. Paint your base color

2. Make a rough heart like shape. I draw my hearts directly using the nail polish brush. For reference, you can see a tutorial on easy way to draw hearts.

3. Using a black nail art pen or a thin brush, draw the outlines of hearts using black polish

And Tadaaa…. You have cute hearts sitting on your nails 🙂

The Red nailpolish I used is Colorbar Pro nail lacquer in shade ‘Rosie’

White one is NYC In a minute quick dry nail polish in shade ‘Blanco 032’

I recommend using a fast drying polish for outline. Otherwise if it smudges, the whole look will get ruined.

Valentine’s day Nail art – Part 2

valentine nail art

Hi

I have done the first part of this Valentine’s series HERE. Check it out.

This time I made it rather colorful nail art. And as always, white is a great color as base for nail arts. It makes other colors really pop.

I wanted to make a polka dot kinda nail art and I thought how about tweaking it with little hearts instead.

I have made the hearts using a dotting tool. I have done a tutorial on super easy way to draw hearts. Check it HERE. I have drawn the hearts here using the ‘v’ technique.

I wanted to keep this nail art soft and pastely, that is why I have used light colors. You can use any color of your choice.

The white nail polish I have used for base is NYC In a minute quick dry nail polish – Blanco 032

Hope you like it

XOXO

Valentine day nail art

Valentine 2

Ok so this is going to be a short post. Since love is in the air, I did a Valentine’s day nail art.

I painted my nails in White base color since this is the best color as your canvas on which your imagination can run wild. I wanted to paint a boy and girl exchanging hearts.

valentine 3

I drew the hearts using a tooth pick. You can find the tutorial for drawing hearts HERE. I have used the first method out of the two given in the tutorial. Worth a read I’d say.

I drew the boy and the girl using a nail art pen. Now since the couple’s hearts exchange finished off on the 4 fingers itself, my thumb got lonely = D So I did the easiest thing. Added Polka dots. And to keep up with the theme I drew a small heart.

White: NYC In a minute quick dry nail polish – Blanco 032

Red: Colorbar Pro nail lacquer- Rosie

I liked the mani. Hope you find it useful too.

Tutorial: Easy peasy way to draw hearts

Insane Dissections

Hello girlies,

Drawing hearts on nails gives a very feminine touch to your hand, I feel.  This is a tutorial on how to draw hearts on your nails in a super easy way.

Things you need:

You can also use a toothpick, a dotting tool, or anything ‘pointy’ you can grab in your house =D

Step 1:

Step 2:

Step 3:

Step 4:

*tadaaaa*   You now have a beautiful heart sitting on your nail 🙂

Another method:

This method should be used only if you have a steady hand and the size of hearts you want to make is small.

You can see there are imperfections in the heart but don’t you worry, it won’t be visible when the size of heart drawn is small. Advantage of this method you ask? Well this one comes very handy when you are in a hurry to finish your nail…

Well this one comes very handy when you are in a hurry to finish your nail art as it takes very less time. I myself use this method more often.

I have made the hearts using this method here.

That’s it my ladies. You now know the easiest way to draw hearts on your nails 🙂

Hope you find it useful.

Little Hearts

This nail art reminds me of ‘Little Hearts’ biscuits from Britannia. Delicious they are 😀 Hence the title.

I was bored with all the blues, greens and other bright shades and wanted to have a ‘feminine’ color on my nails. So I applied a light peachy-pinkish shade. But then I thought- Hey! Small cute hearts would look pretty on it. And so this is what I ended up with.

No nail art tools were used and everything is free hand. I will do a tutorial on an easy way to make such hearts later.

I hope you find it useful.

Love,

Blossom 🙂
